Icon Womens Tuscadero Gloves | Streetbike Ladies GlovesIcon is known for making products that are flashy, classy, and tough to boot. Plus, their lineups always come in a wide variety of color schemes, graphics, and materials. These gloves are no exception. They come in five different colors, all of which can mix-and-match with other Icon products.

The Tuscadero gloves may be a bit high-end, but there’s a good reason for that: you get what you pay for. Obviously, since they are Icon, you’re paying for a fashionable name brand as well as great safety and comfort elements.

Its biggest internal features are the molded knuckle design and riveted palm for increased protection. They’re thick, yet still extremely comfortable. Icon accomplished this by using a soft goatskin material for its initial framework, tailoring its size to suit a woman’s hand.

The cuff is pretty fun, too. The obvious features here are the four dominatrix-style riveted buckle straps. But there’s also a zipper along the side to provide an extra-secure fit.

Icon definitely has a sense of style. So if you’re dead-set on being a trendsetter, at least the Tuscadero gloves will keep you protected and comfortable at the same time.

Firstgear Heated Carbon Leather Riding Gloves

Firstgear Heated Carbon Leather Riding Gloves If Lexus could manufacture gloves, they’d come up with something like this. The analogy fits since these gloves are the top-of-the-line. And they’re also not cheap.

These men’s gloves are built with their own DC-heating unit, producing 15 watts of heat at 12.8 volts per glove. But Firstgear recommends buying the separate Heat-Troller for optimal safety. And that’ll run your bill up an extra 60-130 bucks depending on where you get it. Zoiks!

But they’re still great gloves. They’re made from grade-A drum-dyed cowhide, with a waterproof Porelle membrane underneath for ventilation. You’ll also find a Thinsulate lining, pre-curved gloves, and adjustable wrist closures for a really comfy fit.

And really, who wouldn’t want a pair of ultra-sturdy street gloves with a little electric blanket built in to keep your fingers nice and warm?

Just like a Lexus, these gloves are an extravagant luxury item that most of us just ogle.

Firstgear Womens Babe Leather Motorcycle Jacket

Posted on: Jul 1

Firstgear Womens Babe Leather Motorcycle JacketFirstgear’s Babe leather jacket makes a motorcycle jacket look classy. It’s not your typical black leather jacket that you wear to the office, that’s for sure, but it’s not rough around the edges either. The Babe jacket is definitely made for riding.

It’s made from premium heavyweight 1.1-1.2mm drum-dyed leather, as well as Powerstretch paneling on the shoulders. The zippers are heavy-duty, made to resist a tight fit. And you’ll also find smaller zippers for ventilation on the back and upper sleeves.

Armor padding is optional and not included, but there are plenty of pockets you could add protection to. You can also use these pockets to store anything else you need on the road (maps, valuables, etc.).

One last thing to observe is the Babe’s fit. Notice the contouring around the high-waisted midsection. This will make the jacket feel extremely snug. So if you want a normal fit, get a size higher than you normally would. Then you’ll really feel like a Babe!
